Plumbing in Business Bay towers
Business Bay’s towers range from purpose-built residential blocks to hotel-branded residences and commercial floors. Plumbing systems across these buildings vary considerably by age and specification. Older towers built in the mid-2000s often have copper or galvanised supply lines that are now showing signs of wear. Newer buildings use CPVC throughout. What all high-rise apartments share is the risk of inter-floor water damage when a leak goes unattended — the combination of high water pressure at lower floors and older fittings is a common cause of failures we attend to regularly in this area.
